Compass was established in 1978 by a combined group of Churches on Merseyside, primarily for people who were disadvantaged by not having access to psychological support.
The charity has evolved over this time, and provides high quality, professional counselling support and training. We have several strands to our current offer which includes supporting those that have been sexually abused as children, Community counselling, supporting those seeking refuge or asylum, bereavement counselling and counselling training.
Compass has a longstanding reputation for providing high quality counselling provision and teaching programmes to the community for 40 years. Our mission is to develop and provide professional, accessible, affordable counselling and emotional support for adults.
